Winchester Cathedral will host a celebration and gathering event for those who have shared in the Winchester Green Week

The service will include:

a video record of the Week,

the loved John Rutter anthem ‘For the Beauty of the Earth’,  

Hampshire’s Poet Laureate,  Damian Kelly-Basher reading one of his own poems,

scouts reading the prayers

space in the gathering for participants to make four banners representing water, wood, air and land.

Banners will then be handed over to representatives of organisations which carry forward care in these areas. 

A photograph will be taken for the media, as a record of the event and of the partnership between Green Week and other concerned bodies.
